Deja In The News

Raised by a single mom in Tucson, Deja Foxx grew up a free lunch kid in Section 8 housing and overcame homelessness in high school to be the first in her family to graduate from college. She has been fighting for us for the last decade, winning long overdue battles for our kids and standing up to Republicans to protect funding for Planned Parenthood. Deja is the rare Democrat who will call out the Democratic Party establishment that has failed us. Which is why she’s leading the charge to build something better.

Deja is the champion we need who knows how to fight and win. She will:

  • Take the fight to Trump and Republicans in Congress and stop cuts to programs like Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid
  • Bring down costs for working families and protect services like the ones that Deja’s family relied on such as food stamps, affordable housing programs like Section 8, and free school lunch.
  • Make health care more affordable and build a path toward Medicare for All
