Deja In The News

Raised by a single mom in Tucson, Deja Foxx grew up a free lunch kid in Section 8 housing and overcame homelessness in high school to be the first in her family to graduate from college. She has been fighting for us for the last decade, winning long overdue battles for our kids and standing up to Republicans to protect funding for Planned Parenthood.

Deja is the champion we need who knows how to fight and win:

  • Deja needed a fighter so she became one. As someone who relied on Medicaid, SNAP, and Section 8 housing while growing up, Deja knows first-hand how critical these programs are to millions of Arizonans. When Trump and his billionaire buddies attempt to line their pockets by gutting Medicaid and essential services that help families get by, Deja will fight back because for her, it’s personal.

Democratic primary voters throughout AZ-07 need to receive digital and streaming ads communicating the above message.
